Policy Statement
Edge FA Football Academy is committed to providing an environment where everyone is treated fairly, with dignity and respect.
Football should be accessible to everyone, and we believe that every player, coach, volunteer, parent and supporter should have the opportunity to enjoy and participate in football regardless of their age, gender, disability, race, ethnicity, religion, belief, sexual orientation or background.
We are committed to promoting equality, encouraging diversity and creating an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome and valued.

Unacceptable Behaviour
Edge FA will not tolerate any form of discrimination, harassment, bullying, victimisation, abuse, or offensive language or behaviour.
This includes behaviour that is based on a person’s age, gender, disability, race, ethnicity, religion, belief, sexual orientation or any other protected characteristic.
Such behaviour may occur in person, online, during training sessions, matches, events or through social media and will be dealt with appropriately.
Reporting Concerns
Anyone who experiences or witnesses discrimination, harassment or inappropriate behaviour is encouraged to report it to a coach, academy representative or a member of the management team.
All concerns will be taken seriously and dealt with fairly and confidentially where possible.
Where necessary, disciplinary action may be taken in line with academy procedures and FA regulations.
Promoting Inclusion
Edge FA is committed to creating opportunities for people from all backgrounds to participate in football.
We will continue to promote a culture that values diversity, respects individual differences and ensures everyone feels welcome within the academy.
Review
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated where necessary to ensure it remains effective and reflects current best practice.
