The Mission
Edge Football Academy was built on a simple belief: that elite development and grassroots heart belong together. We coach players from age 3 upward across St Albans, giving every child a clear pathway from a first touch of the ball to competitive football, in a positive, inclusive and progress-driven environment. Our DBS-checked, FA-qualified coaches bring experience from both professional and grassroots football, and they are here to develop not just better players, but more confident young people.
That belief shapes everything we do, on the training ground, on matchdays, and in the way we look after every young person who pulls on an Edge FA shirt.

Every Edge FA player follows a clear route, from a first touch of the ball to competitive football.
Start
Every player begins here. Mini Kicks introduces ages 3-5 to the ball through fun, confidence-building play.
Stage 1
FOUNDATION
Develop
Small-group and 1-to-1 coaching sharpen technique with more touches and personalised attention.
Stage 2
DEVELOPMENT
Compete
League football in the JPL and local leagues, with showcase games and tournaments for real match exposure.
